Thanks to a preview of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 given to Forbes back in June, we know that the game does indeed have cross platform multiplayer. The direct mention of cross-platform multiplayer in the Forbes piece shares the following information: This is good news because it means no matter what platform you choose to buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on, you will still be able to play with your friends. It’s nice to know the same can be said for the upcoming Warzone 2.0 as well. We’re glad that we won’t have to coordinate with our squads to buy the same version of the game.
